Policies
You must fill out forms/waivers and SAVE a card on file prior to your visit.
Late/No Show: To respect everyones time clients are allotted a 15 minute grace period from their appointment time. After 15 minutes your appointment is canceled and you are then considered a no show. No show clients will be charged 50% of the services booked. If you are late, I may be able to continue the service with a shortened time. However, if I have a client right after you, I can not run over into the next clients appointment time. Your appointment will have to end at the scheduled time. This will be at my discretion based on my books.
Same day cancelations/Rescheduling: If you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment, I ask that you please do so 24 hours before your appointment time as this allows others to book that slot. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time, it will result in a charge of 50% of the service(s) booked.
Invoices: If your card is DECLINED future appointments must be 100% pre-paid and non-refundable. If you are sent an invoice for a missed appointment/late cancelation, it must be paid by the same day as the missed appointment. Failure to do so will block you from booking future appointments.
Frequently Asked Questions
Waxing
How long does my hair have to be for a wax?
There is not an exact length that your hair has to be to wax. Although, I recommend 1/4”, comparable to a grain of rice. For first timers, I recommend you stop shaving two weeks prior to your visit. The extra length helps the wax to adhere to the hair easily.
Can I wax during my cycle?
Yes, you must wear a tampon. Keep in mind your skin may be extra sensitive during your cycle.
Can I wax if I am pregnant?
Yes, but please bring a doctors approval if you are far along in your pregnancy.
When do I reschedule?
Every 4-6 weeks depending how fast your hair grows. Keep in mind pre-booking your appointment gives you an extra $5.00 off
What should I avoid?
Don’t exfoliate the day of your wax.
Don’t use Retin-A or Retinol products for at least a week before your wax.
Don’t wax at all if you are using Accutane. You must be off of it for at least a year.
Do not wax over irritated or sunburnt skin.
What should I expect after my wax?
Your skin may be irritated and red but it will subside within a couple hours maximum. Your skin may be sensitive for the rest of the day. You will see the hair start to slowly grow back about 2-3 weeks after your wax depending on the area.
What should I wear to my wax?
I suggest loose fitting clothing. However, most people do not have an issue wearing any type of clothing.
How frequently should I wax?
This varies on the area and person. Facial and underarm services are around 2-3 weeks. Body services are around 4-6 weeks.
Will I get ingrown hairs?
It is possible to get ingrown hairs. Although 80% of prevention is proper home care. Use non-comedogenic products and use them at the recommended frequency provided by your esthetician. Be sure to exfoliate the following day after your wax. The more you wax the thinner the hair becomes. This sometimes makes it harder for the hair to push through the surface of your skin, so you need to exfoliate that top layer of dead skin to allow the hair to poke through with ease.
Lash Lift and Tints
How long do lash lifts last?
Lash lifts lasts about 4-6 weeks! It just depends on your individual lashes. I have had clients say it lasted even longer for them. Keep in mind you must avoid water and oil for 24 hours after a lash lift as they continue to process.
What to do before and after a lash lift?
Have your lashes clean and makeup free prior to your appointment arrival. However, there is makeup remover available if you are coming from somewhere. After you must avoid water and oil for 24 hours. If you’re a “stomach sleeper” try not to push the lashes down while they’re still processing for that initial 24 hours. After that proceed as normal.
How long is a lash lift and tint appointment?
Lash lifts and tints take slightly under an hour including check in and out time.
